Dwayne is a retired Social Studies teacher, residing in Cave City, where he is also active in his community and church, as well as city government.

As a child, he visited many churches, with

his parents, at some of which his Dad would teach singing schools.  He's a quartet veteran; at the age of 22, he sang with his first quartet, and has sung bass with many groups throughout the years since.

In 2007, he missed being in a group and singing and began to think about  getting a new group together, and from that, HeartFelt was formed.

When asked about how they came upon the name "HeartFelt," Dwayne tells the story that one night, thinking about the group that had just been formed, the name “HeartFelt” came to him, it seemed perfect, as all of the members of the group came from old time churches, which believe in true heartfelt salvation. Dwayne's prayer through all of this is that someone will get a blessing from a song and that they will know in their hearts that they have HeartFelt salvation too.

Pat has always been a Cave City girl, growing up on a farm, not far from town.  She works as an Engineering Secretary, in Glasgow and in her spare time enjoys, cooking, making jewelry, and flower gardening.   However, her greatest joy is spending time with her three boys and their wives and seven grandchildren.

Pat began singing with her parents and brother, in church at an early age, and later played the piano for her Dad’s quartet, at the age of 11.

Growing up, being a song leader’s daughter, meant she was always exposed to gospel music and learning new songs, which she says is a rich heritage she is proud to have been a part of. This also came in handy when it came time for HeartFelt to begin gathering a playlist of songs. Her knowledge of Southern Gospel Music seems to be endless.

As she and Dwayne have sung their whole lives, they feel very blessed to be able to finally sing in a group together.  And they also consider it a privilege to sing with , as well as a  blessing to sing with Aaron and sometimes joke that they are just having to much fun, on our HeartFelt journey.

Her true hearts desire, is that in some small way, HeartFelt’s songs will touch the hearts of their audience and they will see that “we have been saved and know what we are singing about.”

Aaron Wilson has been singing since he was a young child. The first song he remembers singing is the old standard "Amazing Grace." From that moment on he was interested in singing and started learning more and more songs to feed his interest.

For a short period of time, at the age of 7, Aaron sang in a group with his older sister, DeAnna, and a friend.  He too, has sang with a couple of other quartets.  The Wilson Family still performs together at churches around the surrounding area.  The Wilson's now consist of his parents, David and Sandy, and his younger sister, Faith.

Aaron says he enjoys singing gospel music because it is a part of who he is. Not just because his parents sang and he sort of fell into it, but because he knows exactly what he is singing about. Aaron was 8 years old when the Lord saved him in November of 1991. Ever since then he says he hasn't even considered looking for anything better in life. He says that he will never be able to pay the Lord back for saving him and hopes that he can bring honor and glory to him by singing his songs.
